My Story

I started making my own jerky and creating my own flavors just for fun and just for myself. I have been called a carnivore many times, because I LOVE jerky, I can never get enough. I found that I liked my homemade jerky better than all the big name brands and everyone I shared it with also seemed to really enjoy the refreshing bold flavors. It was always a big hit when I would bring a fresh batch of jerky to a family event to share. 

One night I woke up around 3 am and made a spontaneous decision. I grabbed my phone and registered a business! Wild Bites Jerky was born from my desire to share high-protein, low-sugar, all-natural snacks that taste amazing with as many people as possible. 

Launching a Kickstarter

I was ready to take Wild Bites Jerky to the next level, but needed help to scale production, refine packaging, and bring my wild flavors to the masses. I decided to use Kickstarter as a way to fund the initial mass production costs. This crowdfunding method allowed me to raise funds and build some excitement within my immediate network around this crazy endeavor. It was a big success!! Surpassing the goal of $6,000 I was able to bring Wild Bites Jerky to life.
